This project focuses on Agnes Even, who lived through the post-Great Depression era in rural South Dakota on her family farm. Her mother and younger sister passed away from cancer, leaving her to take care of her father, who went blind shortly after their deaths. With the support of her husband Neal Even, she cared for their four children, father and those in her community. Although she has faced many hardships in her life, she said her Catholic faith helped her along the way.
